The primary residence at the H-ouse family estate consists of four intersecting gable volumes that segment the plan into functional parts. The great room anchors the house in the middle with  an open floor plan and double height ceiling, vaulted ceilings. 

The other three volumes make up the primary sleeping swing for the family, the garage, and the attached suite quarters.

The upper level contains an open loft to the floor below and an office connected by a bridge.
